I bought both of these used...

The 1st stage with the hose with a yellow stripe has 4 lp ports and 2 hp ports. The top of the stage swivels 360 degrees. It has a newer sherwood octo.

The other one looks much older, and has 4 lp ports and 1 hp port. It has a conshelf se octo.

The older one looks like a US Divers (Aqualung) Pro Diver.

The older one is definitely a US divers pro diver first stage, dive shop i work at still sees a number of these come in for service every year and no one has yet to complain about them. The other one looks like an older style piston regulator, it somewhat looks like an older style oceanic piston regulator but the yoke screw doesnt fit, definitely a piston regulator just not sure who makes it.

The piston reg is a Scubapro Mk 5 clone. With the round knob I suspect it is a Tekna. Same as the SP Mk 5 except it uses a seat with a slightly different height. As suggested above Oceanic sold the Mk 5 under their brand name.

Tusa also sold one for over a decade, which is no surprise as Tabata has had that relationship with Scubapro for decades. Tabata has first rate manufacturing facilities and manufactuers the designs for several companies. Scubapro contracts with Tabata to produce the Scubapro designs and in turn Scubapro lets Tabata sell licensed copies eventually through TUSA (Tabata USA).

Thanks for the responses, now one more question...Are these regs acceptable to use in cold water, i would say in the 45 degree F range?

I wish I asked the guy I bought the mk5 clone off of what it was because it looks pretty new and He told me that it was not that old. It does not look like those clones have been made for a while(correct me if I me wrong).

Tekna has been gone quite a while. Scubapro has not made a Mk 5 since the mid 1980's and Tusa stoped making its version in the mid 1990's.
