Help me pick a camera

Hello,

Will be visiting Philippines in June/July and planning to go to Coron and Bohol with the wifey. But will be in Manila most of the time..

Anyway, I need some help in picking a good digital camera for underwater pictures and all around use.My Fuji Finepix does not have underwater housing and they don't carry one.. kaya yun... Tulong naman mga tol... budget is around $500 bucks... what do u guys think??

Canon S and A series are good contenders; Fuji 900; Oly 350 - those are where I would start...

$500 = about 25000... i'd reco a canon a610 (5mp)... very good camera and the housing's about 8k-10k (paysoes)

the camera sells locally for 15k.... i'm sooooo happy with my (wife's) A620 (7mp version)

what do u guys think about the canon powershot s1 Is? does anyone have any experience with this one? cause the price on the housing is pretty reasonable. wonder if the housing will fit the S2... anyway.. salamat

Digital Camera's are really cheap now the issue is the housing and strobe light.

I have a Casio Ex-Z750 and no housing is available. This is a really good all around camera.

I am thinking of getting a SL960D: SeaLife® Digital Flash when a housing become available
for my digital camera.
