I'm completely new to scuba and is looking to buy some 2nd hand light gears and found this.

Fin: Mares X-steam + Cressi Pro Light
Mask: Mares essence liquid skin + gull

all for 170 dollars.

Is this a good deal?

Also I live in Asia, are there any knock offs I may need to be aware of?

So yes good deal if you are set on those fins and masks. If not compare prices and other recommendations on ScubaBoard. I persoanlly recommend split fins if you are a new diver because they are the easiest to use. Im not aware of any knock off either in Asia but thats not to say there aren't any, I just havent heard of "fake" fins. Cheers!
