Saw this guy in the sea of Cortez. He was about 2 inches long at 30 ft depth. Was on a sandy outcrop on a rocky reef. Any ideas as to who they are?

It's a fish. click on the photo

The eye lens is in focus, could be some species of wrasse, I'm not too familiar with the species in that region
