I dove Grand Cayman today. Pretty disappointed with my pictures. Using a S45 and DS-50. I hate to say it but my old reefmaster strobe had more light than what I got out of the DS-50 today. I emailed ikelite this afternoon and hope to get a response before I dive in the morning. It just does not seem to have any power. Someone told me the same thing here a couple of weeks ago when I was asking about the YS-90 or the DS-50. I concur that my built in flash has about the same. It also likes to pre flash at will. More so closer to the surface.

Is there a setting on the camera that will set the camera flash to maximum? I had a guy shoot a picture of me @ 5-6 feet and I'm totally unlite except for the sparkle in my eyes. Other than that your could not tell the flash went off.

If I cant get better results this baby is on ebay after my cruise is done.
