Help!: Aeris xr1 nx - flashing 'Alt' after replacing battery

Hi all,

Went diving last week and before we'd even started descending my dive comp failed. After cleaning it up and replacing the battery it will turn on, do the usual count down and then "Alt' flashes on the screen a few times before it shuts down.
I am able to get it to display its serial number but nothing else.
What to do?

Ok Awesome, thanks for the tip. Is that the only thing it could be?
