good video-thanks for posting.......

Awful short primary light cord, must be awkward to hold your arm like that during the whole dive.

Sidemount is a great configuration especially in a wet suit with aluminum 80s; but not bad in a drysuit and steel cylinders.

A very good option for cave and wreck penetration... really cool on a scooter.

Steve B (and many other SM divers) carry primary lights helmet mounted and therefore the length of the light cord is optimal in that configuration... it presents minor challenges when hand-held. An option is to carry one's primary in the traditional North Florida Cave Diver fashion; belt mount, goodman handle, but the canister does make itself known and I find myself wearing it more forward than I do with BM rig. I have not tried butt-mounting a primary...

HP does the most wonderful video, and Steve is such a beautiful diver. I was lucky enough to meet HP on my recent trip to Mexico and thank him in person for the enjoyment I've gotten from his films.

Watching his arm position with the light, that's just about where my arm wants to rest naturally when I'm diving. For me, the arm extended out in front is the tiring position.

A sidemount class with Steve is one of the few remaining diving classes I'd like to take.

there ya go, lynne - that's what you ask peter for for xmas!

Enjoyed the video. Very nice work.

Greetings and Wow what a video! Thank you shoredivr for posting the link.
I am so ready to go south to get the ball rolling. Until then I will burn the screen out on my computer. HP absolutely amazing and please continue to video.
I have been watching some of Steve's SM videos with the harness. I have been experimenting with a Transpac SM conversion. I like it so far but will be soon replacing with a new SM only rig. Diving is bliss and always fresh and new!
CamG Keep diving....keep training....keep learning!
