Well its about time to offer a hello, and thanks.

Thanks to the folks who keep this site operating. I asume they are volunteers.
Also thanks to the knowledgeable who answer the basic questions from people like me.

Someday I'll have more diving experence and maybe can pass along some useful info too. The only trip I have done was 2 weeks in cozumel. I assumed since so many have been there that a trip report would be a bit redundent. If my arm is twisted however just a little...

I agreeded with the old thread about including a photo in our profile. Like why not. Everyone has a photo or can borrow a digital camera. It adds to the sense of community.

Finally a folder called ontario canada. Great idea. Is one for the rest of canada in the works too? As a ex ontario type it took a couple of years to get the centre of canada image out of my head.

Is there a spot here at scubaboard that a person could (if they chose to) post upcoming diving/dive vacation plans.

Glad to have you aboard. About time you made it official. I hope you continue to enjoy the board.

Chad

Welcome to the boards!!

Thanks for filling out your profile and posting a pic, it's nice to put a face with a name.
I've read Coz trip reports before, But I've never read one written from your perspective!! Well??????

I hope you enjoy the boards as much as I do!:D

Greetings, bonjour, and welcome. Glad to have you on board.

IMHO the travel section would be the place to post diving/dive vacation plans - particularly if it's not local, and you're looking to ask for information or post your dive report.

If you're looking for something in Ontario, perhaps a better place is in the Ontario Forum. Us "natives" are now getting in the habit of looking there, and responding to pleas of let's go diving
