I just don't log dives
Good morning everybody. A quick introduction.

Well, I finally registered and got a login. I mostly read the posts. Lots of information available here.

I've been diving about a year. My wife is my dive buddy and we have 44 dives under our weight-integrated BCDs with lots to learn but we have fun. We have taken the SSI AOW, Wreck, Deep, Nitrox & Nav.

We did an intro dive on the North Shore of Oahu last summer and were hooked (Thanks Marco). Several classes & dives, several trips to Fort Lauderdale, Key West & Key Largo, Lake Travis, Clear Springs in Terrell and a recent trip back to Oahu, the scene of the crime, has helped us have some great dive experiences and make strong friendships. We like all diving but the wrecks are the most fun. The log book has the Vandenburg, Spiegel Grove, Sea Tiger and stamps from lots of cool places and folks.

I got an underwater camera setup for Christmas so we try to video most of the dives and put them on Facebook and Youtube for our diving and non-diving friends to enjoy (read envy).

As I read the posts each week with my coffee :coffee: I have found that most of my dive friends hang out here. So for here, now, mostly reading without a lot to say (not usually the case in person).

Probably no diving today for me but some scuba gear shopping may scratch the itch...I am considering going with either a Zeagle Octo-Z or Atomic SSI Integrated Octo Inflator and eliminating the standard octo. I use a Zeagle Brigade BCD and an Atomic B2 Reg. Any ideas? I've got some birthday money to spend.

Have a good weekend.

The octo Z is an awesome piece of equipment. I use it and am religious with it despite alot of people having a lesser opinion of it. If you have the newer zeagle bcd set up with the garden hose style detachable hose the Octo Z wont disappoint you. Just make sure you maintain it properly or it may show signs of corrosion or so I have been told though.
