just a quick update...OW cert. is in one week!! I'am very happy and very nervous. What fun this will be.. not sure if I'am ready I don't know if I will ever be. My next mission...must find dive partner! I'am on the look out! Wish me luck on my test on thurs and I might see you all out there. I'll be the one grinning!

glad to hear you are ready for the OW cert. You need to come around here for a surface interval more often. If I recall you may be near my sister & BIL. Both are divers,hikers, backpackers, mountain bike riders and kayakers. Keep us posted on your progress.

Make sure you tell us all how it went, what you saw and how many bubbles you blew.....basically - we want all the details.

You will do fine fillylove. It sounds a lot harder than it is, and some of the exercises are hard because you are nervous, but try them when the pressure is off and it is a lot easier!

You will make it and join the ranks of the few, the demented, the diving community!

When I think back on all the crap I missed in Open Water...
Its a wonder I can dive at all!
But since my lack of education hasn't killed me yet...
I really like diving on the wall!
