Welcome to ScubaBoard, your message is an unexpected one, and one that deserves our attention. First accept our invitation to learn to dive in a dive resort that will introduce you to the fun and excitement of diving. The use the "Forum search" to look at equipment, maintainence, and skill training.
Many years ago, a dive partner was on an off-shore drilling rig as a manager. On duty he was not allowed to dive, but off duty he was a frequent and skilled diver. A new rig that could not yet be used, because of a problem with one leg. Was being "serviced" by divers without the training or equipment of deep commercial diving. Several local divers died because of their lack of known dangers of deep diving.
My friend called the owners to explain the problems, talked them into hiring a crew of experienced commercial divers, surface tenders, recompression equipment. . . the right training for the job. After the proper divers arrived the rig was fixed and drilling began quickly.
Diving is like working on a different world, there is beauty, and a wonderful experience, for beginning divers. . . and there is unseen dangers for working divers. This board will have answers for equipment and Hyperbaric medicine, although maybe not in the detail you will need to support working divers. Check the forums for each topic, and understand, the information is aimed more at sport divers, and not so much at the working diver.
