Reading your reply to cottim.I can't believe that you think we should expect beginer divers to SAFELY push the envelope. You think she was at a acceptable depth, what were the conditions, warm or cold water. Don't you think Narcosis could be a problem at this depth. Going back to the earlier issue, pushing the envelope that's not what recreational diving is all about.Expanding the limits of what may be achieved in diving is serious business. I don't say that we shouldn't expand but the dangers of this expansion could be at the extent of ones life. This is NOT for recreational divers.
 
I am sorry I do not mean to imply that every diver should make every dive, regardless of conditions, but did they say anything at all about other divers complaining about adverse conditions. I know that I have heard of no other complaints as of yet. What I mean to say is that this diver should be willing to expand her abilities. I mean, think about it, if a person makes 12000 dives @ stingray city, and no others, what kind of expirience is that?
