the green grinning smiley on the message icon is no accident, by the way. i am a novice, with only 60-odd dives under my weight-belt ;-0 .

no, wait a minute, i don't use weight-belts nowadays.

used to, though, lugging 26 lbs back in California where i got my start. ahhh the Monterey bay in the winter .now i am back home in Malaysia - drysuit stored away, weight-belt, weights nowhere in sight.

i digress ... i think this is a very informative message board and i'm glad i stumbled into it. much information/opinion/input which should help me decide where i want to go with this hobby, and what toys i need to get :devious:

Would be nice to dive and have fun with my neighbour next door. Who noes we might bump into each other underwater

there's sipadan trip planned for end now and another over new years. hmmm ...
