Hello, new diver here from the PNW

Hi, I'm a recently certified diver (w/ drysuit specialty) and I'm in love with the pacific northwest and the sound. I'm looking for dive buddies near the Greater Seattle area, hopefully in the same level of expertise as I am so we can learn together.

Hi! I’m in Mukilteo. Currently, I am only set up to vacation dive warm water, but, may someday try diving local. I hear there is great diving close by.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Neil, for what I heard the PNW has some amazing aquatic life, but viz is usually crappy during the summer months. I'm looking forward to dive during fall or winter months when viz improves.

Mukilteo has some interesting things underwater...anyway, let me know when you want to dive local

Welcome! You might find the dive planning document that you can find in my signature under dive documents useful. Plenty of shops, charters, and dive clubs for you to find plenty of dive buddies. Marker Buoy Dive Club is probably the most active. The dive shop, Eight (located in Des Moines) has probably the most active community of any shop.

Let me know if you'd see area of improvements. I need to update as the boat charter situation has changed (Ocean Quest is no longer running public charters).
