hello everyone!

Just wanted to say hi and all that.
I have only been diving for 6 months (equates to about 20 dives) but since the first time I even saw someone on TV diving I was hooked.

I currently live in DC, but will be moving to god knows where sometime soon. (I like to make up my mind when I get there) But my one requirement is fairly easy opportunities to dive. (Have to set some sort of requirements.)

I will be in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) in 3 weeks, and hopefully will be doing a bunch of diving when I am there. If anyone has any information about Palma dives, traveling with equipment, or just wants to chat....

reply!

If not... see on in the water one day! :)

Welcome Aine.

How are things in the District? I lived there in the 70s while attending GWU. I still love and miss the city a lot. I see you manage a bar there, is Clyde's still there on M Street?

Come on out to California we can offer you some nice diving here.

it's still there, i have never been there though.
work keeps me way to busy. (i got the sh** nights for a social life... Thur-Mon Nights) blah... lol

and i definately want to make it to California to go diving...
where would be the best spots to go to for diving and vacation/living...? (since i am moving and still don't know where, i am up for ideas... lol) i am such a freak. :stupid:

Well, I'm a bit partial to the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco being my second-most favorite city in the world). And we've got some pretty decent diving in Monterey (< 2 hours away) if you're up for some cool water (low 50s to low 60s).

If you head out this way for a visit and a dive, give a yell. :)

I would love to!
Whenever I get back from spain, i am thinking about just driving around the states and finding a place to live whenever i get there... so if i make it to california, then I will send you a PM and we can hook up and go dive... :)

and hell, since i did my open water cert in 40degree water, i think i can handle 50/60 okay... lol... (though i hated water that cold! eeep!) :)
