Hello from Vancouver BC

Hi all.

I don't think I have posted an intro yet. Just completed dives 9 and 10 off a boat charter last Saturday. Got certified in May.

I did some diving in Indonesia around 1982 when I was 12... My dad was on a project there... I was hooked then. Money, transportation and several other factors prevented me from getting certified when we came back to Canada. This year I decided to bite the bullet and I haven't looked back. I hope to be doing my Advanced open Water next week.

Hope to find some good used equipment here (looking for a Scubapro knighthawk) and learn a few things.

Another excellent source for used gear is Craigslist. Make sure you frequent the Western Canada forum, local dives get set up pretty much every week. In fact I'll be looking to join one Saturday.
