Relatively new to Scuba, started in '08. Just started doing DM. Been prowling the site on and off, so thought I best make an appearance.

If heading down South to Kenting area we usually head out with Andy of www.taiwandive.com - Kenting - Green Island - Orchid Island - XiaoLiuChiu or if he has students with him we at least jump on the boat he makes use of .. infact heading down there tomorrow from Taipei and have fingers crossed for good weather, as it's 'wintery' up North. Andy also arranges trips to Green island and Orchid island, both of which I'll be visiting in next few months for the first time.

If diving up N/E coast to "Longdong" area, we usually use a shop called "Pioneer" to grab air/nitrox from and head out with Ted, or we just get some compass directions from the shop, as the bay there has numerous good dive sites when entering from the shore, and great for weekend dives.

Not gonna write too much here as I guess we are hijacking someones post but yeah thanks, I have been in touch with Andy and got some recommendations, though I will not be diving with him this time I am sure I will again on a future visit.

I'll be landing in Taipei then heading south after a couple of days in the city, ultimately aiming for kenting.

Please PM me any recommendations diving or otherwise (if you have any), basically i am gonna be on the island for about 10 days with no schedule at all
