hi, quick intro into my diving life...

trained as padi OW in Suadi Arabia in 91 and did AOW in 92 also out there (my folks were working out there so I went at cristmas and easter...) the diving out there has yet to be surpassed for me... the quality of the coral and how pristine it is (or was) was amazing....

anyway that was my diving life a few years untill I bought myself a drysuit and started diving in the UK west wales, cornwall, Babbacombe did Malta and Gozo in october that year ( .....uuuuuughhhhhhhh!!!) but I did do Scapa Flow which was amazing... 6deg.C force 6 winds... brill... still managed to fall asleep lashed to the bench along the side of the boat, getting woken up by the waves we were crashing through and coming over the deck!!! trawlers are unsinkable :D

did my PADI RD in 99 and since then have dived alot of different places... usually on holiday as in 2000 I met the wife and she didnt dive, or didn't even like going in the sea.... this had to change... a quick holiday in spain changed that, as soon as she saw here first fish under the sea that was it... she did her OW 2 months later!!! and is now AOW with nearly 100 under the belt... my work is done!!!

so after I did my rescue diver in babbacombe... raining wet cold and even some lightning - which is really good when you are carrying steel tanks!!! we went on holiday diving - we did

4 days in GBreef off cairns on a liveaboard... great
we have dived cyprus, dominican republic, we got married in 2003 in the Cook Islands and dived there, then went to fiji for our honeymoon, dived there a few times... then onto samoa

we have obviously dived Sharm--- toooo many times now dam it gets busy there!!!

some friends got married in south Africa in 2007 so we did a few dives there, saw a whale shark - unfortunately it was dead and washed up on the shore... loads of shark bites out of it though which was kinda cool... we also drove up the coast to Mozambique and did some diving there and saw humpbacks excellent and then have not been anywhere since....

am looking to go on a red sea liveaboard in Feb - see my post in the general travel section...

nice to meet you all... speak soon... or type or whatever!!!:dork2:
