Greetings! I'm a brand new diver (did classes here in Tucson and my OW in the magnificent Turks & Caicos in May) and just wanted to say hi. I think this board will help me with my many questions. Although still feeling a little nervous I absolutely loved the experience and hope I can go diving several times a year. Next trip is to Bequia in May '09 - my first dive package vacation. A present to myself for my 60th birthday!

Hey, from the Phx area, mickietucs60.

Welcome to SB and diving. We dive at Lake Pleasant almost every weekend so post something on the Southwest Sand Sharks forum if you want to come up and get some practice diving in. I have a personal goal to dive in every divable body of water in the state of AZ over the next year (except golf courses). Including rivers and smaller lakes. Let me know what's available and I'll contact you when I go.
