Hi everybody, and what a great source of help and info you all are on here.

I got my BSAC Novice Diver II almost 15 years ago and have been a casual 'vacation diver' until recently when I decided to throw myself back in and do more than just a refresher, with PADI's OWD. That's done, and I'm now planning for my Advanced OW.

The diving experience has become increasingly important to me over the years but I've never had the time to go the whole hog or even got my own kit together until recently, so here I go at last!

I've still got plenty to learn though, and I'm a bit of a pedant when it comes to understanding the detail, so while I may well be back here with questions once in a while, I hope it won't be too long before I'm able to offer something back!

Hi UK! Welcome! Glad you are back in the fray of things. Whereabouts from the UK are you? I know London, of course and Poole and Arbroath up in Scotland. Right now, I'm working in Spain, so if you want to get out of that dry suit and into some warmer waters, let me know!
