Hi everyone
I'm new to this site, and new to diving for that matter. I just bought my new equipment and am scheduled to begin my open-water class soon. Very excited. Have been snorkeling many times with my favorite site being Soliman Bay Mexico. I Learned of this site from the Locogringo fourms where I'm known as Hightide. I look forward to asking questions to the experienced divers, and appologize up front for stupid questions.
I'm a 28yrold Greenhouse manager, not married, looking for underwater adventures around the world.

Welcome to the board! Good luck with your certification!

Hi Kyle and Welcome to

Hi Kyle,
The snorkeling is great at Soliman and Tankah, the next bay over too.
If you end up going back down there now that you are certified, Maya Diving can take you diving on the reefs right in front of Soliman, nice sites there and no other boats around either. Ask them to take you to Manchones, I dove there a couple of times and loved it, lots of fish and a weird area with this kind of smooth curvy rock that looks like rolling hills.
Happy diving
