I am a new diver. My wife did not pass physical however my 12 year old son and 11 year old daughter just recently became certified with me. We are very new to the sport with only six logged dives. This is great though and i wonder why it took me so long to do this. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. We are looking for some dive buddies, some great diving locations, tips on gear and such. look forward to talking to you.
 
Welcome to the boards. Water temps are a little chilly, but the swamp divers dive all year. You are welcome to join us any time at any of the local water holes. Bummer about the wife, great with the kiddos. Hope you get to enjoy many great outings.

Welcome to the community. I joined SB today but have been diving these areas for the last several years. Lots of places in driving distance and can be weekend or even day trips. My wife does not dive and our girl is too young to start. There are several diving/social clubs in the area as well. Without recommendation or endorsement and from the top of my head, FINZ, Scubadillos, Diving Rebels, Texins among others.
