no, the area where the failure happens is where the hose connects to the bcd bladder in the shoulder area. atomic ss1 breathes better than some other integrated inflator octos, but you have to practice using it if you choose to not go with a traditional octo backup.

the drysuit sizing may or may not work depending on the drysuit. most have telescoping torsos, so if you have similar inseams and huskiness, it might be ok. or if the suit is a whites/aqualung fusion and you are within the range for the size.
