Home of the Leopards and Engineers (know today as the Mountain Hawks).

Newbie to diving. Recently ventured to Turks and Caicos with my wife and our friends for relaxation in the sun and white beaches. Took the resort course, continued the next day with the SD course and after 3 days of late nights and no drinks, we received our PADI OW certification. So much for relaxation but it sure was fun.

Thanks to Mayor and Makeusleep for idea to take this trip and to open our eyes up to a whole other world underwater!

welcome

I grew up in Bethlehem back when they were Engineers and the plant made steel not slot payouts.

Welcome to Scuba Board.

Have you ever been to, or heard of, Dutch Springs in Bethleham, PA? The Dive NY group is there every weekend so if you or your wife need a buddy, let us know.

Welcome to the scubaboard! We also had a great time diving with you and your wife. I hope to do it again soon. :D

Welcome to the Board!

Thanks All - glad to be here and excited to resume diving.

Mike - I agree. It is a travesty that the christmas city will now be known for gambling versus steel production. Concerning Engineers, not too much skin off of my knuckles since I went to the "better" engineering school down river.

Sam - I haven't been to Dutch yet but plan to venture there with Mayor this summer. He is making me do 40 hours in my back yard before I get back into OW ;-) Thanks for the invite to hook up and look forward to it in the future.

Mayor - We just received a packet from Beaches requesting our return. Shall we book already for next year?

I start diving at Dutch this week and all my gear is ready to go. 40 hours, that's funny. If you can get that out of one AL80 then go for it.

Your CFO will have to talk with my CFO on the trip but I think we are in.

Welcome to the underwater world! Dutch will be a "refreshing" change from those balmy waters of T&C! LOL, 53' last weekend?
