first of I want to say hello to everyone participating in this active scuba community.
I started diving last september in a Belgian Nelos (CMAS) club.
I couldn't end up better with dozens of instructors offering lessons twice a week 10 months of the year.
This has made it possible to achieve my second star by now so i will be going to 30meters next week.
My location offers me great versatile diving locations.
In the south we have submerged quarry's up to 50meters deep and in the north we have the north sea with the eastern scheldt. This offers great salt water diving with the tide making it challenging to dive there. these diving spots are all within an hour driving from my location
I have done 27 wet dives by now in summer (18°C) and winter (3°C).
The benefit for me is that i have a "veteran" 2* CMAS instructor as a father who guides me.
For the future i will just keep training in my scuba club and lessons for 3* CMAS diver start in september.
