I just don't log dives
Hi, i am in Italy, 60 years old, dove from 1965 with air up to 85 (about 3000 dives, I think), making photos in Mediterranean Sea, Cuba, Seycelles, Maldives and Red Sea, and having some of the first Padi OW and Adv in that years in Italy. After 20 years of break due the job, I restarted two years ago and found all new: gas mixes, dry suits, BCs, doubles only for tech (in 70s the double 10+10 was the standard for all, also beginners) and DIR philosophy.
So, I am now an old newbie and must to re-learn all.
I just take a nitrox card, doing a dir basics training to do soon tech levels and perhaps trimix 1.
From this summer i dive dry, with a 7+7 liters double dir-dressed, long hose, and a S40 stage with Ean40 for more security. I do not do long deco dives ad use the computer setted to air also if i breath some Nx40 at 6&3 meters for more security.
Wenting back to the sea and underwater was astonishing for me, and I hope to continue up my 70s and more...
The only problem for me is that I can't use anymore my marvelous set of Nikonos cameras with 15 mm lens and the case for nikon F2 because the electronic imaging won over chemical photo...

Bye
