Hello all. I just returned from a trip to Aruba. Several people on the boat mentioned they found their way to the dive shop they picked (Dive Aruba - awesome!) using this site so I thought I'd join. Wow, what a site! So many threads, so little time. :snorkels:

Welcome to the board!

Hi DiverDna.

Welcome to the world of SCUBA diving and to the board. If you are at all interested in local diving come check out the Great Lakes Wrecking Crew in the club's section of the board. We're a pretty active and fun group of people. A bit less active during the current temps but that will change with the weather.

Looking forward to getting to know you.
Paula

Welcome to the board DiverDna. I'll bet it was hard to leave Aruba. I know it would have been hard for me to leave.

Hi Randy! Where do you dive in Ohio? I've actually been certified for 10 years and did most of my certifications in Gilboa Quarry (brrrrrrrrrr). It was on that first dive in Gilboa, as I struggled into the 7mm and then hit the 40 degree water that I realized I'm a WARM water diver. :)
