Ive been reading and researching equipment on here for a while to get some other actually true opinions about gear so i decided it was time to post. Im advanced certified(PADI) from winston-salem NC, going to school in raleigh and mainly dive the keys, some caverns in northern florida and some local spots. Looking forward to being in the SB community.

that sounds awesome, where is the quarry located that you guys dive?

it's about half an hour north of the city in Rolesville
Fantasy Scuba Park
The water was 56 this weekend thank you very much Herman! Was stuck teaching OWT and the surface was miserable but the water felt good.

Rolesville a little north of Raleigh.....I do need to talk to the owner, some unsavory characters seem to be getting in these days. Some strange baghorn thingie player has been showing up lately. :)

By the way, the LDS is having a pool party on Sat. 90 minutes in a huge pool followed by all the pizza you can eat if you have a need to get wet. Good chance to meet hang out with the club and meet some of the locals.

oh, if you're a student at ncsu seriously consider taking pe 227

hey thanks for all the feedback. And it so happens that i am a ncsu student and im gonna look into that class. what kind of certifications do you end up with. Rescue diver cert would be cool. One step closer to gettin dive master after i graduate next year

hey herman, do they do any certification classes up there. me and a buddy are lookin to get our nitrox certs to get more bottom time on some salvage dives in lake norman (getting rich peoples sunglasses off the bottom) and it would be easier than going down to wilmington to get it.
