Hello, been on scubaBoard for a while but never introduced myself.. I am an Active DiveMaster in Illinois (moline) dive most of teh Quarries and Lake Michigan, and once a year hit the Carribean. Have been a DiveMaster for 4 years, it's hard to make that jump to Instructor around here, since we only have 6 months or so in the dive season. Anybody want to dive Oct 11th? there is a underwater Pumpkin carving contest in Kankakee Il, at Haight Quarry..

I am a newbie diver but spent my dives at Haigh this summer. It was a lot of fun.
I used to live in East Moline. A very long time ago - in the 70's.
I wish I could pumpkin Carve on Oct. 11th!
I hope that I can get to the Caribbean once a year! This year is good. I will be going in 28 days!
 
I'll be there diving getting checked out for OW cert. Might not get around to pumpkin carving but I'd like to meet some more divers from the area.
 
Welcome to the board. I am a newbie from down in NW Indiana. Hope to hit some of the quarries and also the lake a bunch next summer as I am still hoping to be certified next week.
 
I'm always looking for an excuse to dive, but the 11th I'm volunteering with the flood relief in Munster, IN. Hopefully next time! And . . . welcome.
