Hey all! I just found this sight a couple weeks ago. Lots of knowledgeable people here. I'm a certified diver who kinda hadn't done much diving. I plan on changing that. I was certified in 03 but my last dive was in 06. My only excuse for quitting is my dive buddy moved away :depressed:. Next month I'm going to take open water again and really get involved in the community this time. So, anyone within a four or five hour driving distance want an inexperienced dive buddy? Woo! :)

Laura

Hi Laura! :wavey: I'm from Missouri too, and I'm looking for local dive buddies too! Where are you in Missouri? I'm in KC. I'm pretty new myself. Was certified in '07, dove several times that year, then didn't dive again until this past November. I got bit bad and I can't wait for this dive season.

PM me if you want. :)

Hi Jeni! I'm down around Springfield. Every year around this time I get the bug. This year I'm doing something about it. :) You know of any dive spots around you? Locally I've only dove Table Rock.

I've only been to Bonne Terre around here locally. I do know of some places. I'll send you a PM with more information. :)

There is a Spring in Illinois called Mermet, It is by Metropolis. The sunk the plane from the movie U.S Marshalls there! They have alot of really cool things along with an underwater stereo system.

Hi Jeni, We are going to dive Arkansas's Beaver Lake the first weekend in May. The more the merrier!
It's just across the boarder east of Rogers. Takes about four hours to get there from KC.

I'm there!!!! I'm totally there! I am putting it on my calendar right now! I will be in touch about it.

Laura you should come too! We could have a scubaboard invades Missouri get together. :rofl3: Oh boy!

My sister has a baby due that weekend so I can't say yes... But I'd like to, you never know. Maybe she'll be early. ;)
