Hello from Milwaukee!

Greetings all!

I just wanted to drop a line and say "Hello!" to the boards. I am a relatively new diver with a handful of dives under my belt and I am struggling to stick with it for a few reasons.

1. Inland lakes with low viz and Lake Michigan. I have dove in both, but not 100% sure it is my cup of tea.
2. Haven't really found a dive community in the area as the only group that runs through Facebook, and even though I am a millennial I haven't had a Facebook in like 8 years.

So I am at a bit of a crossroads on what I wanna do with my diving hobby.

90% of the dive groups around WI run through facebook. Deal with it, lol.

There's the 4 season dive club out of that area too. They're the 10% that aren't on FB.

Lots of cool wrecks in the an/dp diving range. There are a a few shops in the area teaching tech classes.

Pretty much need advanced/deep and nitrox for a fair portion of wrecks north of milwaukee. Def worth getting.

I do most of my diving in Lake Michigan off of Milwaukee. Happy to give advice, connect you with other divers. I also am an instructor for recreational diving.
