Hello friends call me zero new to diving just took a intro course and me and wife are studying for open water cert now any help you can give is appreciated as I am a total newbie to diving

I would guess that your ocean diving would be done in Monterey -- you are in luck! Not only is there absolutely FABULOUS diving there, there is also a very active community of Monterey divers here on SB to give you advice and tips on best practices for their environment.

Yes Monterey is were the open water dives will be held and I am looking forward to it greatly
