Hello from Lincoln, NE

Just joined up and reside in Lincoln NE. Got Open Water Certified in April of 2005 in Hawaii after doing my initial training at Heartland Scuba Center here in Lincoln. My wife just got open water certified last summer and now I'm working on getting gear for us both. I'm pretty close to complete and she needs a few things still. Then we can start doing some more recreational dives. Absolutely loved it when I dived, I just wish I lived closer to an ocean.

I live 20 minutes from the ocean and I do NOT take it for granted. I grew up on a lake in upstate NY in the Adirondack Mts...now that I took for granted.

GO BIG RED!!!! Just saw your post on Scuba Board. I too am a new member and live in Kauai but born and raised in North Bend, NE. Have a brother living in Lincoln and one in Hastings. Next time in Kauai give me a jingle. Be glad to go diving with you.
