Hello Scubaboard.
Not dived yet but my wife and I are planning on taking a certification course within the next few weeks or so.
From LA County and researching schools within that area.
Wanted to dive for years but never got round to it - work, kids... but a recent trip to Catalina Island
gave us a new sense of urgency after seeing people scuba dive there.
Can't wait...

Congrats on the start of your diving adventures. I've heard great things about diving there.

Don't rush it. Make sure you get comprehensive and safe training. No need for urgency.
