Hello everyone,

I have been wanting to get in to scuba diving but timing was never right. Now, im just saying the hell with timing and just going to do it, even if im in kuwait. after talking to a couple of guys that do it and reading forums this is what im thinking of going with as far as equipment goes:

BC
Dive Rite Trans Pac w/ travel wing
- reason... diving does not seem to good around here, i have heard there are some reefs / wrecks to dive... time will tell, but i figure since im not really home (SC), i might as well travel and this bc setup seems like a good travel setup and a good way to start and i wont need to buy another for a long time... well maybe another wing later on.

Computer
Aeris XR-2 console with compass
- couldnt decide on wrist or not.. so decided to go this route

reg
Oceanic EOS

octo
oceanic swivel octo with magnectic keeper

i would love to hear yalls input.. take care and hope to see yall on the boat.

Welcome to SB! No better time like the present to learn to dive! May want to try some equipment before you buy.
