New member checking in from Everett, WA.

I received a gift certificate for scuba lessons (PADI Open Water) from my brother for Christmas from the same place where he got his certification. I’ve always wanted to dive, and I was a ‘fish’ in the local river growing up, spending most of my time free diving for different things (golf balls, money, chasing fish, etc). My class is at the end of February, and I’m currently gathering the required equipment on a tight budget.

Welcome to the board. There are a lot of very active Puget Sound divers here. Ask any questions and you will get good answers from serious divers-might even find a dive buddy or two.

Puget sound is one of the best places in the world to dive-IMO.
