Welcome to ScubaBoard. California has a lot to offer divers. I enjoyed a trip to dive via liveaboard in the Channel Islands.

Welcome Max. California coastline has an abundance of diving enjoyment on offer. I lived there for 15yrs and qualified as a NAUI instructor in the Bay Area back in 2004. Many fond memories of Monterey and other sites. Hope your diving journey brings you much pleasure.

Wow, finally more new California divers popping up here on scubaboard, cool!
Welcome to both of you new California divers @Max101 & @Longwaytofall
I’m up here in the northern part-wine country, north of SF. There’s lots of great diving all up and down the state.

I’m in the E Bay. I’m prepping for a trip to Polynesia, but toying with trying out the cold Pacific waters. I was AOW in Indiana rock quarries, so cold water and low visibility is something I’m used to. Current and kelp not so much.
