I posted a message in a specific thread, and didn't realize that this thread was an actual meet and greet.

Hello. what else?

I'm a solo diver, always looking for places to dive where singles are accommodated. I tend to travel like a backpacker, and live like a local when possible. I like it cheap. The cheaper the better. I'm not a big resort or fancy pants type. I don't do cold water.

Very busy at work, so have a great day.

Hello Shammey and welcome to :sblogo: I'd also like to invite you to our Dive NY forum. We have several divers from the city, so come on aboard! There is also a solo diver forum on the board you can check out.
Hope to see you soon.
Take Care,
George

welcome aboard

Welcome aboard, Shammey! I agree with Standing Bear; join a local group like his (I'm in PA), and come dive some local spots like Dutch Springs, PA, only a few hours from you -- there's pleanty of people to buddy with, and it sure beats waiting for a warm-weather vacation.
