I am from the South of Brazil and just had my pool lessons.
As I am going to Maldives next June 1st I intend to have my PADI OW check-out over there.
I mean, that is just a plan because I am totally scared about being in real open waters LOL!
Finding this site and forum has been fantastic as I'm learning a lot from the experience of other members.

Do you know of any good dive sites near São Paulo? My wife grew up near Itapevi, and would be nice to bring the dive gear on our next visit to see her family.
