Hi everyone! Ive been looking around here for a while now and thought i would drop in and say Hi.
I have always wanted to scuba dive ever since I was a little kid and my Dad would go. I remember one time I was really little and my Dad came out of the lake in his scuba gear and I was so scared of him. I cried until he took it all off. Ever since then I can remember wanting to dive.
In 2002 I finally got certified during my freshman year of collage. Since then I have only been able to log about 6 dives. My biggest problem is not having anyone to go with. My wife got certified a year after me but struggled with equalizing and hasn't been in the water since. She doesn't have her own stuff and has a hard time spending $100 just for one weekend of diving.
I've tried to convince friends, relatives, co-workers that they should get certified but apparently I'm not a good salesman!
Hopefully soon I can get back in the water. I just need someone to go with!
