I am an advanced certified diver working on my rescue certification at the moment and wanted to see what was going on at scuba board. I was told about this site by my instructor, and decided to ck. it out. I am 46 years old, been married for 25 years, have 2 amazing daughters, 2 hardworking son-in-laws, 1 grandbaby, with another on the way. I teach the 1st, 2nd grade Sunday school, and I am actively involved in my Church. Aint life great. I love diving and have been doing it for over a year now, about 30 dives. I know I have a long way to go to catch up to you experienced divers, but watch out, I'll be gaining ground. I started out my diving experience a couple of years ago, while on a cruise, you know the 2 hour traing, then dive for 30 minutes. I enjoyed doing this a couple of times, before I came to the realization that I was so in love with it, I needed to be certified. When you are down around 60' and turn upside down looking at the sky and all it's wonders, thru the ocean waters, it makes you feel so awesome that there is a God that loves us so much. I don't know anyone yet, so drop me a line to chat. If I don't answer right away, give me time, and I will. My work has me on call regularly, so this messes up my diving time to. Nice to be here.

Hi Scuba Jethro!

Welcome to SB! It's nice to hear someone so excited about diving!

I have been fortunate to dive in all sorts of places around the world. I'm sure you will enjoy everywhere you go!

BYW, I like to hang upside down too. Other divers think I'm weird, but it does have a different view like that!

Well I'll say, I have been to Phoenix 3 times in the last year for about 2 weeks at a time, and was looking for someone who dives, who would know where to go and how to get there. I will be coming back in September for a 1 week school. You wanna go diving? I did'nt even think there was anywhere to dive in Phoenix, you know, desert and all, but I finally saw a dive shop (don't have there card right now), but visited with the owner about 45 minutes an diving in Phoenix. I was surprised. Thanks for welcome and I'll get with you again about when I'm coming.
