I threw a message in a bottle from Dauphin Island, Alabama into the Gulf back in 2015 which travelled to Veracruz.
I've thought about a trip to your area. Let us know what the shore/boat diving is like in that part of the Gulf. I drove through Veracruz back in 1982 but wasn't a diver then.
