Welcome. I'm not in your area; a couple of questions might help others respond better. Are you planning to mainly dive locally vs. traveling (likely to warm water destinations like Cozumel, Belize, Bonaire, Roatan, etc...) or a mix? The answer will have a big impact on who you dive with.
I'm talking about dive buddies only; no idea about the dating scene.
