In an octopus's garden in the shade
Hi everybody, just found this site the other day and thought i'd say hello. we live in the san francisco bay area. i'm an american and my wife is a filipina, from cagayan de oro. we have spent a lot of time in many fabulous places in the philippines, she has spent more of course since she was born there and i was born on the east coast usa.

we are going to the philippines at the end of august and staying for around 3 weeks. i need to upgrade my padi cert from padi scuba diver to the open water cert. my wife likes to snorkel but is afraid of diving despite my encouragements. i got the padi scuba diver cert on malapascua and was gonna get the open water cert but we were on vacation and the rigorous schedule was feeling like work and not vacation so i did enough to get the scuba diver cert.

now that we're going back to the phils, i want to complete my jedi training. i am hoping that if i do all the book work some outfit there will let me complete the remaining dives without starting from scratch. if any of you all have any ideas on this as well as good spots to dive at the end of august to first part of september, drop me a line.

peace
