Just a quick greeting to all. If you have the chance to dive in Victoria, Australia, try Flinders pier, Westernport Bay, about 2 hours from Melbourne: it's not deep, the visibility is rarely wonderful, but there are always a few huge rays and heraldically coloured weedy sea dragons. Now here's the query: does anyone know a way to make the removal of fins easier, other than bending the leg in the 'number 4' way? My diving partner, fit and experienced, twisted her hip badly today while trying to manouever herself so that she could adjust her fins, and donning and removing fins has been a difficulty of mine for years. Perhaps it's an easy task for people with long slim legs but for those of us with short thick ones it can be exhausting. I spring holders, incidentally. Thanks, everyone.
