Hello fellow divers,

Just came from the local dive shop in town and they told me this would be a good place to meet fellow divers and get information......

I am planning my 5th year wedding anniversary for my wife, who also is my dive buddy... We are from NJ and looking to get away for a long weekend and dive... We are looking to stay 4 nights somewhere in the Caribbean Islands. Would anyone care to share some good places to stay at that caters well to divers and has a good night life as well... Preferable an all-inclusive resort. We been to Cozumel, Bahamas, St. Lucia, and Jamaica; now ready to explore some other islands.

Thank you so much for your feedback and wish all safe diving...

Ike

Hello Ike. There is a sub group here called DNY, NY, NJ and other regional area divers. Hop over and introduce yourself.

As for your question about a 4 day, all inclusive Caribbean dive trip, I am at a loss to help.

I have done the Beaches at Turks and Caicos, all-inclusive, and it was very good, but I do not know if they do 4 day packages. Check their web site. I believe there are all-inclusives on Coz, but am not experienced with them.

My all time favorite Caribbean dive vacation is Bonaire, hands down, but they are really not known for all inclusive packages, that I am aware of. If you hop into DNY you can ask for more help there.

Welcome to Scubaboard!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to you and your wife on your upcoming wedding anniversary!

I've heard Cayman has some resorts and diving.

Definitely come to visit us in Dive NY. http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/dive-ny/

Welcome to the boards.

For short vacations, the places you list are probably the easiest (and least expensive) options, especially if you are looking at all-inclusive. Bonaire and the Keys are great locations without the inclusive options, as is Bermuda if you like wrecks.

As Jim mentioned, the Sandals/Beaches resorts are all over, have a great reputation, are all-inclusive and IIRC include diving!

We did Beachers T & C 3 times, because the diving was very good. You certainly can't beat their all-inclusive set up there.

My co-worker just returned from her Honeymoon there 4 days ago, and they had a ball! Since they are not divers, their opinions may not count? ;)

Nice wall dives off Turks and Caicos.

welcome to the board, and check your LDS if there padi (i know padi does it im not sure if other agencies do it) i know they can usually help you put a vacation together, and you should probably be able to get some more opinions on where to exactly to go. and congrats on the anniversary as well.
