Hello,
I have been reading these forms for some time now and decided to join yesterday. I recently decided I really missed diving ever since I was certified in 99. I was only 14 at the time so due to the cost of equipment I could really pick it up actively as a hobby. However now that I am older and have a decent job, I now can afford the equipment. I have been re-reading the PADI book that was used for my certification. Would you say it would be wise to go back and retake the course all over again due to Im sure changes in teaching and principles, or just take the quick pool side refresher course?
Also anyone know any good dive areas around Potomac/Chesapeake Bay area, I was certified at Lake Rawlings however, three hours is quite a drive for quick dive during the weekends. I just wanted to see if there were more areas locally, that are off the beaten path.
Thanks,
Trev
