The last time I went diving was 20 years ago due to job and kids. Over Christmas, the wife and I took our daughter on a cruise and we snorkeled in Honduras. It got me interested in diving again and our young daughter took it upon herself to research snorkeling and that led in to scuba. She approached me and mom and asked if we could go diving.
My concern is age. I know that PADI has a limit of 10 y/o. Asking you kind folks (I gather most of you are
) your thoughts on a safe age for open water is part of my process and research. If we decide to push forward, I have a lot of homework finding the right instructor and would plan to be re-certified.
