shutter speed 1/60 min

use the fish mode if you got it

use acdsee pro to edit the picture if you dont have enough reds.

Great to hear you're getting a new camera! YOu'll have a blast.

I assume the quarry is dark? If so, you may want to start with a higher ISO than I would suggest for more tropical waters. You should have relatively little noise with 200 on that camera and should have a go at 400, too.

Keeping your ISO up a little should give you more play in your other settings like Aperture and Shutter. In these dark conditions I would definitely set things on manual as the camera will want to open the aperture way up (making soft looking photos) and/or reduce the shutter so far that camera shake & other movement may be a real problem.

I'd try 1/100 and f4.0 to start with your higher ISO. Do a test shot. See if it's spot on, way too dark or too light. Adjust as necessary.

Remember that if you are going to use your internal flash you have to get close and fill the frame. Forget about wide angle shots if you are using the internal in murky conditions. Using your flash and getting close will also let you shoot at lower ISO, faster shutters and smaller apertures as the light will be coming from the camera and not the surrounding waters.

You can white balance in the quarry too. This will be useful for those times you do not want to use your internal flash.

Good luck and have a blast! Looking forward to seeing your photos!
