I signed onto this site a long time ago, then didn't come back for a long time. I'm now retired, so it's time to fix that.
I'm rescue certified, with drysuit, deep, nav, and nitrox certs.
I live in the San Diego area and mostly dive locally. Generally speaking I like to play in the ocean. In addition to diving, I also enjoy snorkeling, surfing, and boogie boarding with my grandson.
I've done some international travel, but not to the extent that some of the serious divers have. Enough to know that I like both tropical diving, and local temperate water diving.
I also build telescopes, do astronomy, and build scale models. I'm currently managing editor of Model Cars Magazine, and chief admin of its online forum.
